13th-6th century BC. A large leaf-shaped bronze spearhead with lozenge-section midrib and flared shoulder, square-section tang with right-angled finial; mounted on a custom-made stand. See Khorasani, M.M. Arms and Armour from Iran. The Bronze Age to the End of the Qajar Period, Tübingen, 2006. 1.3 kg total with stand, 57.5cm (22 3/4"). Ex South London collection; acquired in the late 1990s.
