Property from the Collection of James Flynn and Bill Wiley, Chicago, Illinois Condition Frame: 45 5/8 x 40 1/2 inches. A plaque to the verso reads: Bertram Lima started his career with Amalgamated Press and was/ later right-hand man to Lord Rothermere. He became chairman/ of Pictorial Newspapers Ltd. in 1914. He was largely responsible/ for the successful launching of the Sunday Pictorial and did/ much to advance the Daily Mirror. He died early in 1919 at the/ early age of 35, a victim of the influenza epidemic.
