宋文治（1919—1999）师从张石园学习“四王”，拜吴湖帆为师，并向陆俨少、朱屺瞻请益打下深厚的传统功底；1957年在江苏国画院从事专业山水画创作，博取众长，形成了独特的风格；60岁后以“泼彩”和其他新技法启发，作品气息清新，妙趣横生；曾经担任中国美术家协会理事，江苏美协副主席，江苏文联委员，南京大学教授等职；代表作品有《江南春潮》、《山川巨变》、《梅园长春》、《江南春潮》等；出版有《宋文治作品选集》、《宋文治画集》等。
