黃槐森 行書對聯 A Chinese 7-character calligraphy couplet in ink on paper by Huang Huaisen (1829-1902). The calligraphy has 2 seals, a dedication, and is mounted on a silk backing with silk dowels.
Dimensions are: inches tall X inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The couplet has significant staining and repairs.
Provenance: From the estate of Lee Yuhuang. Mr. Lee was an accomplished artist in Hong Kong, where he was part of the Lingnan School, before he emigrated to San Francisco. While in San Francisco, he taught Chinese painting techniques and continued to collect Chinese paintings and calligraphy, a practice he had begun in Hong Kong. 拍品400至430來自李譽煌先生舊藏。李先生是香港知名藝術家,是嶺南畫派傳人。在移居舊金山之後,他在舊金山傳授中國繪畫技巧,並繼續收藏了許多中國書畫。
