|观音菩萨，又作观世音菩萨、观自在菩萨，从字面解释就是“观察（世间民众的）声音”的菩萨，是四大菩萨之一。观音为美妇人的形象，发髻高盘，丝丝动人，双眸微闭，慈祥端庄中透出威严。衣裙表现出自如的褶皱飘逸之感，如丝绸般轻柔，此为福建永春工特点。此尊清代早朝水月观音，面相丰圆饱满，鼻直唇秀，嘴角内凹，眼眉修长，垂目俯视众生，面露慈祥和蔼之色，呈自在游戏座于山石之上，衣纹折叠搭垂，线条疏密有致，流畅灵动，整体造型显得悠闲惬意，正如坐于海上山石望水中月亮之神情，意境十足。
