The outer shell is made of multicolored gold embellished gilt metal with translucent yellow guilloche enamel and double headed eagles set with clear rhinestones. Wonderfully opens up to reveal a gold gilt miniature replica of an 18th C carriage. The egg rests nicely on a gold gilt stand. Securely housed in it's original box with the double headed eagle. Signed Faberge on the inside rim of the lid. Measures 6 3/4" tall on the stand. Good overall condition with no damage to note.
