A 19th Century Chinese Silk Jifu Dragon Robe. The long, side-fastening robe of a rich blue ground with gold and silver thread embroidery, Lishui waves at the base centered by a sacred mountain with chasing dragons amongst cloud scrolls, with further auspicious symbolism embroidered throughout. Black silk collar and cuffs embroidered with chasing dragons and flaming pearls of wisdom, gilt brass ball fastenings with a light blue damask lining.
