An ornate, Chinese hand mirror shaped like a short wide scepter, the reverse face of white jade, carved in low relief with blossoming branches in a garden setting, the side walls with blossoms in red, pale and darker blues against the brass/bronze body supported by similarly painted bats. The handle is comprised of a large white jade hook showing a taotie approaching the head of a dragon which is banded by brass/bronze which is etched on the reverse with flowers.
