A 19th century Folk Art engraved treen walking stickDecorated in the round with various domestic and exotic animals, each above the corresponding letter of the alphabet including a zebra, an elephant, a hare, cow and a camel, and with a church and a steam train tender and carriages, engraved S Hewett, Boxted, 1864 and further engraved with a verse "If I be lost and you me find pray bring me hom you be so kind". 103 cm long.
