|简介：符铸年，近代书画家。别署闲存居士、二观居士、铁道人，署其居室为脱静庐。祖籍湖南清泉县鸡笼街（今衡南县鸡笼镇），生于广东潮州，晚年居留上海。符翕子。幼承家学，少年便负书名，7岁写三尺余大字泐于长沙岳麓山壁，见者不知出于7岁幼童。8岁书大字楹联刻于衡阳回雁峰山门。1897年随父到京都访两淮盐运使程商霖，粤中所求书画都由“令郎铸儿为之”。1918年居上海以书画自给，江苏省财政厅厅长严孟繁爱其才招其居幕府。1923年由上海有正书局出版《符铸书画》，曾熙为其作序。
