Ray was a major influence in the turning field both in the UK and around the world. Despite his fame, he was graciously generous with his time and talent and I appreciated his honesty and feedback.For this piece, I thinned the walls a bit but kept Ray’s rim and bowl shape.Knowing Ray liked uncomplicated pieces, I kept the knotwork simple.
