A BRONZE CENSER, KANGXI
China, 1662-1722. The compressed globular body raised on three conical feet, the everted rim set with two loop handles, the base cast with a Xuande mark in a square reserve.

Provenance: From the collection of Alexander Popov in Novi Sad, Kingdom of Serbia, acquired between 1900-1920. A copy of an old black and white photo, dating to early 1930s, with the collector’s cabinet, and the present vessel within, is accompanying this lot.
Condition: Fine condition with wear, tiny nicks and traces of use.
