林鸿年（1804-1886），字勿村，侯官（今福州人），清嘉庆九年（1804年）道光十六年状元及第，是福建省清朝时期的第一个状元，道光十八年被册封琉球国之正使，出使琉球，曾任云南巡府，培养出栋梁之材多达百余人，其中包括陈宝琛、林纾、陈衍、吴曾祺等人。 款识：旧宅既成复阏小无瑕则诵读其中实事求是不尚虚誉也，勿村林鸿年。钤印：林鸿年印（白） 勿邨（朱）
