French automaton "Lady at the Piano", the bisque head lady with brown glass eyes and closed mouth, standing at a rosewood and ebony piano, with gilt metal candle sconces and gilt metal side handles. Containing a music box that plays four tunes while the lady's head moves from side to side and her arms and hands move across the keyboard. Original tune list attached to back of piano. Jumeau head with red check mark "XII". Probably by Leopold Lambert. Figure: 19.5"H; Piano :14.5"H x 14"W, Circa - 1890.
