陈奕禧，字六谦、子文，号香泉，浙江海宁人。王士祯弟子。由贡生至户部郎中，官至南安知府。书法由董其昌而上追晋人，功夫深厚，奕奕有雅致。曾受康熙帝睿赏，屡召赴南书房作书，一时名满天下，四海争购。陈奕禧的书法「配制匀停，调和安协，修短合度，轻重中衡」，堂堂正正，内涵博大，态度雍容。其笔势淳厚，从容不迫，一片庙堂气象，为「黄钟大吕之音，清庙明堂之气」。明清绫本书画专题（Lot631-654） 题签：陈奕禧行书真迹。钤印：「环吉」题识：夜深莲炬半烧过，模写神功入咏歌。直继诗人常武什，下看韩愈颂元和。丁亥五月海宁陈弈禧书于赤壁。钤印：「海宁陈弈禧章」、「义泉太守」
