A LARGE AND IMPOSING JAPANESE BRONZE SECTIONAL DRAGON KORO, this large koro in sectional pieces, the lid with an immortal / god with an intertwined dragon, upon simulated waves,the main body of the koro with twin dragon removable handles and carved decoration depicting scenes of flying cranes amongst stylized waves, sitting upon a solid intertwined dragon bearing its teeth, the base in the form of a cylindrical low table with five curviong legs, fixed to another cylindrical base, and carved with clouds, scholars objects and flora, the underside bearing an artists, the base with japanese makers mark amongstr flying cranes and pine trees, 163cm high x 62cm diameter.
