λ A late 19th century French ivory and silver-gilt sewing case, rectangular form, the hinged cover opens to reveal a needle case, a pair of scissors, a thimble, a pencil and a spike, length 11.2cm, plus a 19th century ivory pin cushion and cased thimble and a 19th century red leather sewing box, the cover with a scene under glass, the interior fitted with ivory boxes, two glass scent bottles and implements, also with tools.
