A special example carved of a fine white jade. The bead is inscribed all around and would date to the Ming dynasty or earlier. I have seen a couple very similar examples sell through the higher end auctions for some extraordinary amounts, well worth looking into. Size: The bead measures 7/8s of an inch long, by 1/2 of an inch wide. The bead weighs 5.8 grams. Condition: Minor imperfections consistent with ancient age. Overall substantially good as seen.
