A large, Chinese, porcelain jar of broad inverted baluster form, with splayed foot, straight neck, overhanging domed cover with onion dome finial, the body with a doucai glaze showing figures gathered around a small cart being pulled by pink (spotted) & black deer amidst scrolling clouds in a countryside setting, with auspicious artifacts & diapered bands at the shoulder & cover, a bird seated near the top of the cover, a pair of concentric blue rings on the underside. D: 10 3/4" (27.3cm) H: 18" (45.7cm) Condition: in good condition with rough repairs to the mouth, (approx 10 cm broke into pieces and restuck)
