Hälfte 16. Jh. Kniender unbekleideter Mann, die Linke auf das Knie gestützt, die Rechte unterstützend erhoben. Bronze, braun patiniert. Verschlossene Schraublöcher an beiden Schultern. H. 15 cm. Im Auktionskatalog von 1988 als Figurengruppe mit stehendem Herkules mit Löwenfell abgebildet, der im Begriff ist Cacus mit seiner Keule zu schlagen. Als Tragefigur könnte vorliegende Bronze auch Mittelstück eines Schreib- und Leuchtgerätes mit Tintenfass und Öllämpchen in Gestalt einer Weltkugel gewesen sein. Die Tragefigur dabei angelehnt an das antike Vorbild des Atlas Farnese. Gut vergleichbar etwa eine Kleinbronze im Bayerischen Nationalmuseum München aus der Werkstatt Andrea Riccios, abgeb. bei Weihrauch, Hans R., Die Bildwerke in Bronze und in anderen Metallen. Bayerisches Nationalmuseum München Kataloge Bd. XIII,5. München 1956, S. 62f. (Kat.Nr. 85) sowie ein kniender Atlas (Tintenfasshalter), ehem.
