A Chinese blue and white Kraak deep bowl, Wanli period (1573-1619), thinly potted with gently flared rim, moulded and painted with panels of birds, landscape and fruits, the interior with plants encircling a bird perched on rockwork, 12.8cm diameter This type of bowl is referred to by Maura Rinaldi as a 'crow cup'.
