圆形，圆钮，圆钮座。绕钮置九枚乳钉，其间刻“宜子孙”三字铭文及几何图案，外环一周铭文：“尚方作镜真大工，上有山人不知老”。主纹饰区置于两周短斜线纹之间，其中设七枚乳钉，间隔以青龙、白虎、朱雀、玄武、青羊、羽人等神兽图案。镜缘起台，饰一周三角锯齿纹，其外饰四神边。此镜通体漆黑莹亮，纹饰线条流畅，甚具汉镜之特色。
