A bronze figurine of the god Osiris with arms folded across the chest holding the crook and flail, with the Atef crown and uraeus on the head; the face carefully modelled, with discoid eyes, triangular nose and curved plaited beard; pelletted border to the tunic at the neck; the feet on a rectangular base; supplied with custom-made display stand. 465 grams, 18 cm including stand (7"). Property of a South East London collector since 2011; previously acquired on the UK art market before 1996; formerly in an early 1980s collection.
