A pale green glazed composition shabti with tripartite wig and false beard, pick and hoe in the crossed hands and seed-bag over the left shoulder, nine lines of hieroglyphic text from the Sixth Chapter of the Book of the Dead to the body. 142 grams, 16cm (6 1/4"). Property of a London gentleman; acquired in the 1970s.
