Two fragments of wall plaster with fresco of a prancing horse sporting detailed bridle, harness and saddle, front hooves resting above a quiver of arrows and a prostrate rider in boots and green riding cape holding a thyrsus (?); portion of foliage border above. 1.8 kg, 19.5-25cm (7 1/2 - 10"). From an important central London collection formed since the mid 1960s; thence by descent. [2]
