A gold belt hook comprising a tongue-shaped plaque with beaded border, openwork image of a profile gryphon with cross to the shoulder and banded wing, volute scroll to the short edge developing to a sturdy hook with flared finial, three attachment loops to the reverse. 24 grams, 63mm (2 1/2").
