Exquisitely modeled after a Middle Eastern metalwork prototype with a flattened spherical body supported on a spreading foot, surmounted by a cylindrical neck with a raised rib flanked by a pair of ruyi handles, adorned on each side with a lotus roundel at the center surrounded by panels each includes one of eight emblems of Buddhism, covered overall in a brilliant glaze of celadon, except neck, handles and the base depicting lotus scrolls, six-character seal mark on base. 20" H.
