Lot of 5 composite Presidential lithographic prints including three hand-colored lithographs by Currier & Ives, ca 1825-1848. The Presidents of the United States, Zachary Taylor. 12th Pres.-1849 to 1853. New York, NY: James Baillie, ca 1848. 11 x 14.75 in. (sight), 18 x 22 in. (frame). Roundel portraits of presidents up to the newly elected Zachary Taylor, wreathed in laurel and unusually depicted in civilian dress rather than his typical military uniform. Interestingly, the artist reflects TaylorÂs campaign promise to not seek re-election, preemptively showing his presidency dates as 1849-1853. They did not foresee, however, his untimely death in 1850. The Presidents of the United States, Lewis Cass, Democratic Candidate for 12th President. New York, NY: N. Currier, ca 1848. 9.5 x 13.375 in. (sight), 15.5 x 19.5 in. (frame). Roundel portraits of presidents George Washington through James K. Polk, with Democratic candidate Lewis Cass portrait surrounded by laurels at center. WashingtonÂs Reception by the Ladies, On Passing the Bridge at Trenton, N.J. April 1789. On His Way to New York to be Inaugurated First President of the United States. New York, NY: N. Currier, ca 1845. 9.5 x 13.25 in. (sight) 13.5 x 17.25 in. (mat). The Presidents of the United States. Roundel portraits of the presidents of the United States from George Washington, circled in a laurel wreath, through President Elect James K. Polk. Image of Signing of the Declaration of Independence reproduced at center.Maurin, Antoine (French, 1793-1860). Les Présidents des Etats-Unis. [Paris]: Chez Chaillou-Potrelle, undated. (Imp.
