拍品器形硕大，盘口，长颈，丰肩，鼓腹，至足渐收。瓶身施白釉，瓶腹以粉彩绘通景四妃十六子图，四妃优雅娴静，一派悠然，十六子三五成群，形态各异，颇为传神，构图丰满，布局疏密有致，用笔精细老辣，画意传神，施彩丰富。四妃十六子典出宋高承《事物纪原·帝王后妃》：“三代有夫人而无妃号，汉有贵人，魏始置妃，此夫人号妃之始也。唐初皇后而降，有贵、淑、德、贤，是为四妃也。”此纹饰寓意吉祥，象征着望子成龙，妻贤子孝，于细微之中表达了人们祈求人丁兴旺的美好愿望。
