Bronzenes Dreiwulstschwert mit Rundknauf, Mitteleuropa, Spätbronzezeit, 11. - 10. Jhdt. v. Chr.Dreiwulstschwert mit kurzem Dornfortsatz am eiförmigen Knauf. Der im Querschnitt ovale Griff durch drei erhabene Wülste gegliedert und mit Ritzverzierung dekoriert. Der Griff wurde in Überfanggusstechnik mit dem geschweiften Klingenblatt verbunden und zusätzlich durch zwei Nietstifte an den Zwingen befestigt. Die Klinge am ausschweifenden Ansatz gezähnt. Die Klinge mit deutlichem Mittelgrat und randparallelen Linien ist in fünf Teile zerbrochen. Mit Ausbrüchen an den Schneiden. Im Bereich der Brüche kleinere Fehlstücke. Hervorragende grüne Patina. Länge 55,5 cm.Provenienz:Aus einer in Süddeutschland aufbewahrten Privatsammlung. Erworben in den 1970er bis 1980er Jahren im Kunsthandel und aus deutschen Privatsammlungen.Zustand: IIIA Late Bronze Age sword, Central Europe, 11th - 10th century B.C.Bronze sword with round knob.
