Großes Zeremonial-Messer und kleine Stele mit anthropomorpher Darstellung, Taíno Kultur, Karibik, 10. - 15. Jhdt.Zeremonial-Messer aus graugrünem Felsgestein. Kurze, breite Klinge, die in einen "Griff" übergeht, der eine hockende, stilisierte Gestalt mit runden Augen und offenem Mund zeigt. Intakt. Länge 37 cm. Dazu eine flache, ovale Steinfigur aus hellem Felsgestein mit stilisiertem, grimmigem Kopf. Tiefe, ovale Augenhöhlen, eine flache Nase und ein breiter, offener Mund mit angedeutetem Zahnmuster legen eine apotropäische Funktion der Figur nahe. Geschmückte Stirn mit einem Mal. Intakt.
