Chinese Ming Dynasty Xuande water pot. Potted with a wide bulbous lower belly, slightly oval, gently waisted toward rotation prominent neck, and slightly flared rim leading to wide opening, emerging archaic dragon looped flanked on the upper mouth rim to shoulder, create majestic handle. All reserved in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the cobalt fine blue color. The main body adorned with flowers blooms interspersed with scrolling tendril and foliage, enclosed with double fine blue rings lines. The shoulder decorated with trashing Lishui wavy water. The neck festooned with flori and auspicious pattern, enclosed with thick fine blue rings lines. And the upper mouth rim decorated with scrolling interlocking ruyi. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
