Majestic, Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong DouCai porcelain garlic moon vase. Finest porcelain with tall ovoid body, thick, with bulbous lower region sweeping up into a slender neckline and onion shaped head, raised with slight small oval concave base, two archaic elephant trunk pattern ribbon handles flanked from onion head to the shoulder rim, create solid handles. All reserved in clean white underglaze base color against the DouCai design. The main body adorned with various abundant flowers blooms called Suihan Sanyou or The Three Friends of Winter, interspersed with scrolling tendril and foliage in vivid tones, enclosed with double fine blue rings lines. The neck decorated with auspicious pattern, repeating interlocking taotie mask, and big flowers blooms among scrolling tendril and foliage on the onion head. The color is balanced, elegant and exquisite. The porcelain conformed all required specimen to be high valued Chinese porcelain wares, with finest material, the whiteness, the glaze, and the carving. Without overlap the outlines of the design, well carved, clear, subtle, distinct, and the shape is uniformly proportioned. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six underglaze blue seal script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
