Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Jiaqing blue and white wrapped floral motif porcelain reward vase. The porcelain potted in bottle form, spherical body, with wide ovoid lower belly, thick, shoulder tapering to straight neck with slightly, tall cylindrical stick neck, flared opening mouth rim, raised on slight cylindrical small round, with concave foot base. All reserved in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the fine blue color. The main body, the shoulder, and the neck decorated with huge peony flowers blooms interspersed with scrolling tendril and foliage. Repeating scrolling ruyi decorated on the upper mouth rim and interlocking key fret on the foot rim. Each section part banded and enclosed with double fine blue rings. The peony is the unofficial Chinese National Flower. It stands as a symbol of spring and female beauty and reproduction. It also represents richness, honor and high social class. The foot rim reveals the cut edges during the making process, and the base left unglazed with grayish creme-brown ground and dark spots of firing marks. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six underglaze blue script characters reign mark, Made in The Years of Jiaqing Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
