Chinese Qing Dynasty Kangxi oxblood red monochrome porcelain vase. A cylindrically shaped vase, globular body, narrow to the foot base, long straight neck forming into a slightly flared rim, with two rings lines, flat footed base. All reserved masterfully covered in an even coat of a iron red glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white underglaze. The iron red creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a vertical six underglaze blue script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Kangxi Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
