Lustrous, Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Daoguang famille verte wrapped floral porcelain reward vase. The porcelain potted in bottle form, spherical body, with wide ovoid lower belly, thick, shoulder tapering to straight neck with slightly, tall cylindrical stick neck, flared opening mouth rim, raised on slight cylindrical small round, with concave foot base. All reserved in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the green fine color. In Chinese it is called Lu You. It is a lime glaze that contains copper oxide, which in the oxidative atmosphere, is green. Ever since the Ming Dynasty, there have been high temperature green and low temperature green glazes. The “peacock green” glaze produced in the Chenghua Period of the Ming is most precious. The main body and the neck adorned with big peony interspersed with scrolling tendril and foliage. The shoulder decorated with scrolling ruyi, banded with double fine green rings. Thrashing wavy Lishui water on the upper mouth rim and interlocking key fret decorated on the foot rim.
