拍品形制特殊，与常见圆形玉镯截然不同，造型端庄，仅饰以均匀的编织皮绳纹，极为罕见。模拟皮革制品制作其它器物是北方少数民族的传统，如辽代流行的鸡冠壶，拍品所饰的绳纹亦应是此种风气之产物，内蒙古博物院藏战国时期匈奴金冠带即以此为形（参见《中国文物定级图典•一级品》上卷，页341，图04），可见其历史悠久。参阅：《中国文物定级图典•一级品》上卷，上海辞书出版社，1999年，页341，图04，
