A Chinese blue and red underglaze porcelain snuff bottle dating from the 19th century. The snuff bottle has a 6-character mark on the bottom and the body depicts 16 children playing. Dimensions are: 3 1/4 inches tall X 1 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: No stopper, otherwise overall good condition. Provenance: From the estate of Mr. Kwok Woon Kun, formerly a shareholder of Wing On Company, a well-known department store group in Hong Kong and Shanghai. This collection was collected in Hong Kong prior to Mr. Kwok's death in 1969. His collection was shipped to Canada in 1981 and was inherited by Mr. Kwok’s daughter and grandson.  Items from the same collector were sold at our September Fine Asian Art & Antiques auctions, 2019.
