His left foot is crossed over the right, padasvastika pose. He is wearing a patterned dhoti with belts and decorated scarves. Two raised hands are holding the chakra and shanka, ritual weapon and object of Buddhism. His other two hands are lifted as if playing a flute which is now missing. His hair is done up in a simple bun. He is wearing no elaborate jewellery but looks more like a common human.
