A Sword with Traveling Cutlery
Germany, 19th century, length 75 cm. Provenance, owned by Carl Hugo Holm, born in 1837 in Christiansfeld, Denmark. He was naval officer in the Danish-German war in 1846 and subsequently governor and judge on the Faroe Islands in around 1875. The sword came to the Netherlands through inheritance to the Holm family, who in the 2nd half of the 19th century, famous pharmacists and drug manufacturers were in Zeist. This lot will not be sent outside of the European Union.
