民国2张胡枫，一般认为生于1920年。其父亲曾经是官僚，因此她年幼过的是小姐生活。胡枫在南京金陵中学读书，抗战初期全家到了上海，后来因为父亲失业，家庭经济不好，她去舞厅当了舞女。1939年到1941年，凭借她美貌和很好的身材，成为红舞女，而且是上海百乐门舞厅的首席舞女。她读过书，有文化，能写点文章，有人称她为“文艺舞星”。
