此梅瓶，小口外撇，圆唇，短颈，丰肩，内凹圈足。全器施黑褐釉。瓶身使用了剪纸贴花的工艺：先在胎体上贴上团花花卉纹的剪纸，然后通体施黑釉，待釉快干时撕去剪纸，有纸的地方露出黄胎，根据需要在露胎处用黑釉绘纹饰，再入窑高温烧成。这种工艺为吉州窑独创，装饰性很强，颇具民间特色，深受人们喜爱，可惜传世立件很少。此梅瓶纹饰繁复，温婉大气，褐与白之间呈现独特的视觉盛宴。
