此碗造型周正，口沿内敛，直壁折腰，圈足微撇，碗壁厚薄变化富有章法；胎体细密坚实，碗之内壁口沿处挂玫瑰紫斑，于天蓝釉中泛出紫斑，赋予作品一种镜中带动的美感。乾隆赏钧窑红斑云：“晕如雨后霁霞红，出火还加微炙工。世上朱砂非所拟，西方宝石致难同。”此器造型美观，釉色艳丽丰满，做工精细，甚为难得。
