器圆口，折沿圆唇，器壁微微内斜，平底，折沿上置一对山形立耳，下设三足。除足外施以白釉。是风炉和茶鳆的结合体，茶铛器底通常带三足,西晋文学家左思《娇女诗》：“心为茶荈剧，吹嘘对鼎砺” 的鼎，指的就是茶铛。此器与饮茶之风盛行有极大关系。
