文徵明（1470-1559），原名壁（或作璧），字徵明，明代杰出画家、书法家、道家、文学家。四十二岁起，以字行，更字征仲。因先世衡山人，故号“衡山居士”，世称“文衡山”，汉族，长州（今江苏苏州）人。因官至翰林待诏，私谥贞献先生，故称“文待诏”、“文贞献”。为人谦和而耿介，宁王朱宸濠因仰慕他的贤德而聘请他，文徵明托病不前往。正德末年因为岁贡生荐试吏部，授翰林待诏。他不事权贵，尤不肯为藩王、中官作画，任官不久便辞官归乡。Lot645-742笔墨千秋古代专场
