●​吴春元（1882-1932），福建龙溪人，先入私塾，应科试进秀才。后毕业于福州师范。辛亥革命前加入孙中山先生领导的同盟会组织，他任教汀漳龙师范时，曾以丹霞书院的半月楼作为革命活动开会场所。漳州光复后，曾任南靖县县长。不久，乃弃政从教，先后任龙溪教育局局长，汀漳龙师范学堂、龙溪甲种工业学校、省立第八中学、第十三中学校长、教务主任、教员等职，桃李遍及闽南各地。
