此壶紫泥制君德梨形式，圆广口且盖墙深直，利于茶叶的伸展浸出。工艺精良，壶流及壶把做的壮实有力，流、把、身、盖线条流畅，比例和谐，做工精巧可人。此壶式自清初一直沿袭至清晚期，各朝器形略有细微变化。具有典型工艺特征及时代气息，是实用性与观赏性兼得的佳作。底部采用钢刀錾刻“香玉堂”。
