清代晚期，适逢泰国商贾前来宜兴订制紫砂器，供泰国皇室和寺庙使用，受当地民俗观念及审美趣味主导，泰国紫砂磨光工艺形成了独特的风格特征。此壶以优质紫砂泥料制成，呈暗紫色，水磨抛光细致，皮壳光亮，体量适宜。壶身呈圆球式样，壶嘴、口沿均包饰黄金，壶底钤“龙印”图案款。
