铜 镇 纸 自 汉 晋 以 来 多 制， 以 天 禄、 辟 邪 为 瑞 兽 形象， 此 铜 镇 类 狮 似 虎， 作 伏 卧 状， 回 头 而 视，双 目 圆 睁， 似 休 闲 状， 造 型 准 确 写 实， 神 态 生动 传 神， 加 之 精 选 良 铜， 质 沉 压 手， 包 浆 纯 熟，镇纸通身以错银工艺手法又使兽面充溢灵气，此类工艺始于春秋中期，盛行于战国，西汉以后逐渐走向衰落。它的一般做法是先在铜器表面预先铸出或錾刻出图案、纹饰所需的凹槽，然后嵌入金银丝、片，锤打牢固，再用蜡石将其打磨光滑，达到突出图案的装饰效果。此件镇纸制作精良，品相完好，极具收藏价值。
