Two Chinese Bronze Figures of the Luohans Ananda and Kasyapa Each disciple standing on a lotus pedestal wearing a long sleeved flowing robes wrapped around the body, wearing serene expressions beneath their shaven heads flanked by pendulous ears, Kasyapa, his hands joined at the chest in nebina ghasso symbolising a sincere and firm heart, Ananda, the taller figure with hands raised and locked together in the kanjo-in mudra to accompany the ceremony of unction, the robes of both figures with remains of gold lacquer and patination on the smaller figure and blue pigment on the larger figure.
